Old style, new wood! This has been one of my favorite pieces to make to date! It's a 4x4 foot cupboard. Made of solid pine to include the back which is 3/4" shiplap. The doors are a full one inch thick with "true" floating panels. Two of the three shelves are adjustable. The top boasts broad ends with a nice crown to give it a fancy finished look. The first few photos show it with no finish which looks really nice. The customer decided to finish it with an earth tone milk paint style transparent paint. And now, it looks fantastic! We have another, much bigger one in the same style we built. We'll be posting that in a week or so...stay tuned! As always, be sure to like and share.

So, here's how it works: take some logs, cut them into boards of various widths and lengths as in photo 1. Kiln dry them to 7% moisture content. Now, we gang saw and plane the entire batch to the required thickness. Next is shaping them, In this case, it's a novelty siding called "Double-D". Then the customer, in this case, Colleen Trudeau, picks up her order. Colleen and her husband work tirelessly to finish their camp. And what a job they did! Looks fantastic! We offer all of the above services. If you are looking for novelty or, log siding order now to have it for spring. Or, if you are willing to brave the weather...we could have it for you sooner! As always, please like and share.
