OUR CONFERENCE - is on Saturday, September 29th, sandwiched between 2 free research days. Each generation has one or two family historians. We love to see them... come to the library to do research. Some are even training the next generation. When Robin Labarge comes in, she sometimes brings her grandson and he researches our computer programs. We would like to see public historians from all the Towns in our county come to our library so we can show them the thousands of genealogcial resources we have available. We hope they will refer them to us when they don't have the answers in their offices. Introduce yourselves when you come and we'll show you around. COUNTY HISTORIAN - Anastasia Pratt - Past President of NNYACGS TOWN HISTORIANS Altona - Peter Sorrell Au Sable - Roby Scott Beekmantown - Gary Van Cour Black Brook - Bonnie Hackett Champlain - Tom Mandeville Chazy - Robert Cheeseman Clinton - Dianne Lagree Dannemora - Ves Pivetta Ellenburg - Joan Hobbs Mooers - Jennifer Bulriss Peru - Ron and Carol Allen Plattsburgh - Dick Brogowski Saranac - Jan Couture Schuyler Falls - Barb Benkwitt VILLAGE HISTORIANS Champlain - Beverly Maynard Dannemora - Pete Light Rouses Point - Donna Racine We would also like to invite members of genealogical and historical societies from neighboring counties, states and provinces. Your family histories intertwine with ours. You can't have history without people. We can help you round out your family histories and put some meat on those skeletons' bones. #ClintonCountyNY #Genealogy #FamilyHistory #ILoveNY See more
