On behalf of the Barnes Corners Sno pals, we would like to take the opportunity to reiterate that we do not endorse nor are we involved in the Atv/Utv event ta...king place this coming weekend. We felt it was too risky to have the 2021 SNIRT RUN due to New York State Covid restrictions for events. By the way, we have the licensed trademark for the term SNIRT RUN. There are many processes that have to be in place as mandated by the Towns and Counties. New laws are being enacted by certain towns that will make it more difficult to have the SNIRT RUN is future years ( more information to follow). We just hope this weekend's event doesn't jeopardize the future of Barnes Corners Sno pals SNIRT RUN and other Atv/Utv events. Please no negative or inappropriate comments as they will be deleted. In October 2001 I put www.northernchateau.com online using a desktop computer, dial up, a Logitec 240x320 0.2 mp webcam and a muffin fan to keep the window defrosted. Now here we are April 1st 2021 with snow in the air and many webcam locations are have either switched to or are switching to Fiber Optic High Speed internet. In fact my place I will be getting and Beta testing Starlink sometime this summer/fall. So what does that all mean? It means webcam picture quality w...ill improve as webcams get better and costs come down. Presently I am testing a two PTZ ( point, tilt zoom) webcams. One is 1920 x 2560, 5mp with 24x optical zoom, the other is 1080p 3mp 8x optical zoom. I can change the cam position and zoom via my cell phone from anywhere. Once Jason and I run it thru it's paces I have a few places in mind where they will go for field testing. Stay Tuned,,, See more
