To our valued Patients of Northern Optics, With the growing concerns of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we wanted to take this time to share with you what we at Northern Optics are doing to protect the health of our clients, staff and practice. Safety and health is very important to us, and we are monitoring the rapidly-changing state of health in our area. We will be screening all of our appointments to ensure that our patients, or other household members, do not have cold or flu sy...mptoms; or symptoms of contagious illness that may put others at risk while visiting our office. We kindly ask that if you or your household is experiencing cold/flu symptoms, please call us to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid the spread of illness to other patients and staff. Additionally, our Doctors and staff reserve the right to ask you to cancel or reschedule your office visit if this situation arises. Please note, in the event this occurs, you will NOT be charged a no-show or cancellation fee. As ongoing practice, we continue to deep-clean and disinfect in our offices to maintain our high standard of cleanliness. We are taking extra care to wipe down door handles and other contact surfaces multiple times throughout the day. We urge you to continue to follow the guidelines put out by the CDC to slow the spread of COVID-19: - Avoid close contact with people who are sick. - Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, clean your hands with a hand-sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. - Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. - Stay home when you or a household member is sick. - Cover your cough/sneeze with a tissue, immediately discard in the trash, and wash your hands with soap and water/hand-sanitizer for at least 20 seconds. - Clean and disinfect frequently-touched surfaces and objects with recommended CDC cleaning sprays/wipes/disinfectant. At this time, our business is continuing to operate at our normal hours and monitoring the situation. We will provide any additional updates as necessary.
