This year it has been pushed until September, but in the spirit of getting together, the Billion Oyster Project is throwing an Oyster Hour on May 7th at 7pm. Dear Little Creek Family, It is with heavy hearts that we announce that we will be idling the shop. To everyone who came by this weekend to check on us, to sound their hope for our combined future and to share in the magnificence and promise that was the feeling of sunshine on our faces and a trace of replenishment so we can fight the week ahead. We will always remember who was there for us, in person and in spirit. At home and around the globe.... What’s next? We have only our employees, our small farms, makers, doers and provisioners and the very heart of what we do in mind. So we close today to preserve what we can. To streamline. To free up our heads for planning and creating stability and perhaps a chance to survive should these closures be prolonged. We join so many in hoping for a rapid change for the better and are closing simply to make our best attempt at being viable and capable of re-opening when the all clear sounds. We can only hope that clear leadership emerges to create a voice that we can all believe sounds a true all-clear. That voice is absolutely not here now. We wish you and yours the safest road in the journey ahead and hope that we can break bread once again.
