In honor of Earth Day, Logan wanted to draw a picture of how our house helps the earth by producing electricity from our solar panels. He’s right! We’ve saved nearly 26k pounds of CO2 and saved 200 trees!! Not to mention a $0 electric bill! Thank you Liz Zurla and Empire Solar Solutions!

Words simply can’t describe the feeling when these arrive from Angel Flight NE. Even after we announced our totals for the year, some additional donations came in and we topped 84 flights!! We started collecting for Angel Flight 4 years ago and raised 7 flights that year. Look at where this community had taken it since! We share this with all of you! THANK YOU!!

We normally write a long post talking about what an incredible season it has been. We write about all the moments that stood out, especially the moment when the lights turn off for the final time. Certainly this year, we could go on and on about all the media coverage and what it felt like to have our family on national TV. But that’s not what stands out. What stands out and will be forever remembered, is the generosity that we saw this difficult year. In a year that was h...ard for so many, to see literal tons of food being dropped off, and the monetary donations night after night, was in a word.AMAZING. It is a wonderful reminder of what charity is. It is the recognition that there is always someone else who needs help. If there is any lesson to learn from 2020, it’s that we need to think more about others; who needs help, who needs compassion, who needs our respect and how to bring that universal feeling of joy to others. We are grateful to so many people who helped this year. Especially our family, friends and INCREDIBLE NEIGHBORS, many who are front line nurses and doctors. We are beyond grateful for the help of two amazing local business who drove our donation total up by very generously matching donations on their respective weekend nights. Linda Fernandez SOLD Team #1 KW Rockland County Realtor matched $1500 in Sunday donations and the Duke of Oil and Tune stepped up in a BIG way to donate a total of $4000 in matching donations from all Saturday nights. Above all, we want to thank the people who work year round at Angel Flight NE and People to People - Feeding Rockland's Hungry. These are people who have made it their life's work to help others in need and have gone above and beyond during the pandemic. We are only more then happy to help you spread the joy you create year round. Let’s show Logan some love!! He didn’t get a chance to speak on our live appearance on TV earlier this month so we wanted to give him a chance to have his voice out there. Watch this adorable (we are slightly biased) behind the scenes tour as Logan explains how things work at the North Pole Airport. Let’s show this kid some love! He’s put so much time and passion into getting the show ready this year!

6 years ago, we reached a point in our little display of just a few bushes, 2-3 inflatables and we said, let’s go big! and we started the North Pole Airport. It’s been our dream to be that house. A destination for joy as we remembered taking our kids to when they were really small. To see this many people coming to enjoy our house, our home and most precious place for our family is overwhelming. Then to see all the donations to Angel Flight NE and hundreds upon hundreds of pounds of food to People to People - Feeding Rockland's Hungry... then to have businesses like Duke of Oil and Tune and Linda Fernandez SOLD Team #1 KW Rockland County Realtor matching weekend donations... it’s just unimaginable that this community and our INCREDIBLE neighbors have helped us build this!!! THANK YOU!

There wouldn't be a North Pole Airport if Linda Fernandez SOLD Team #1 KW Rockland County Realtor hadn't found this house for us. And now, we thank her again for being so generous.

Every wonder what it looks like from inside? Our kids have blackout curtains in their rooms so they can go to sleep before the show ends.

What does MC Hammer and our animated props have it common??? (Wait for it....) Can’t Touch This.

We can’t wait to do our show this year but with Covid, there will be some important changes to keep everyone healthy and safe. Last year we had three big light-up buttons that guests would push to activate our three interactive props (Santa’s airplane, the singing JOY sign, the elf radar dish). We have been working on a system to adapting those interactive stations to be 100% contactless. Once installed, you will simply wave your hand under the sensor to safely activate the prop. Today, I built the first working prototype and loving it! Who’s excited for some joy???

Back in January we ran a fun contest with our friends at The Sunny Side of Solar and Empire Solar Solutions to see how many lights one of our new panels could power. Turns out the winner of that contest ended up meeting with Liz Zurla from Empire and found out just how much she too could save. Today was her install day! You can’t imagine how great it is to see $0 on your O&R bill! Got questions? I’m truly happy to answer from the user standpoint or put you in touch with the experts.
