****Traffic Alert**** A Tractor Trailer has taken down several telephone poles and numerous wires on Wells Avenue West between Maple Manor Drive and Belmore Drive. North Syracuse Police, North Syracuse Fire and National Grid are on scene. Power may be out in the area several hours as poles will need to be replaced. Several road are closed to include Wells Avenue West, Maple Manor Drive and Part of Belmore Drive. Please avoid the area as there will be traffic delays. #nspdny

North Syracuse Police want to share a new law which goes into effect November 1, 2020. This law basically states everyone in a motor vehicle age 16 or greater no matter where they are positioned inside the vehicle must wear a seat belt.
