No Time Charters

Had long time customer coach Dan Quinn and his young nephews out on the boat . Had a boat limit of slots with a few shorts and one big 39 in over . Switched gears and caught a nice keeper cod one big ling and released numerous short tog and a few short cod . Dan and I were reminiscing about the past trips where we would limit quickly on clam caught bass (2 per man ) then limit on winter flounder (15 per man) How far we have fallen ! Too bad his nephews may never get to see that kind of fishing. A nice day spent with some nice people .

Had Dan K & Ian out the other day for some bottom fishing over 30 tasty #redhake went into the box. Some real jumbos in the mix Highlight of the day was a nice keeper cod caught by Ian. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday Season ! Thank you to all my great customers that have supported us throughout the years. Will be glad when this year comes to an end. Highlights of the year was the great thresher shark fishing we had, 8 up to 475 lbs. Ridiculous Tuna chunking in the late summer, although far.... Two 50+ lb stripedbass who went back in along with all the others over 35 inches. Tog was tough though we almost always managed to put a nice catch together. Good action with the tog last few trips . Tough to get keepers though . Kudos to the guys for staying with it. Have enjoyed teaching some first timers ... very satisfying when I see them catching ! Dogfish seemed to have thinned out finally .

Last few trips have been challenging with 10 to 15 k tog taken each day . Kudos to the guys for staying with it and being patient . A few too big bass caught and released as well . Should get better with colder water temps coming ... strange year !

A trip for jake and friends resulted in 15 or so keeper togs to 7 lbs . Lots of short action also in the mix . Butch and family beat up the bass with a boat limit of slots caught with tons of shorts . They released 3 or 4 that were too big also . Great trip with a great crew that ignored the chop and got it done !

A trip for ray Moeller and crew resulted in a boat limit of 7 slot sized fish with releases . Next up was tom and friends . They totaled 4 slots with many releases in some hellacious conditions . Kudos to them for staying with it in rough seas .
