Families, in order for SCSD to continue to qualify for the funding that provides more than 33,000 free meals to our students every year, families must complete a household income eligibility form. This also allows your student to receive certain other benefits, such as waived or reduced SAT and AP testing fees. All 11 SCSD students in the Le Moyne College Upward Bound program who became QuestBridge College Prep Scholars in the spring just found out that they have becom...e QuestBridge National College Match Finalists! Of more than 18,000 applicants, these students were among the 6,900 who were selected, meaning that they may match with selective schools to receive a full college scholarship! Congratulations to Saima Nezami, Harun Mohamed, Elizabeth Soe, Shawnai Ku and Parmila Dhimal (Corcoran High School); Nghi Thai, Hadeel Al Qoronz, Maryam Almafrachi, Malik Robinson and Hibatullah Shaalan (Nottingham High School) and Toryana Jackson (Henninger High School)! In addition to the Upward Bound students, Corcoran High School student Vanessa Vergara has also been named a College Match Finalist!
