When it snows we have 2 choices, shovel or make snow angels! We are having a blast during the first snow day of the year at #NRCSD! Some of our favorite activities of the day were: Frosty Friends At NRHS, students in Marla Pruden's class got a chance for creative extra credit today by getting outside and building a snow person or creature and then writing about it. ... Sleigh Rides Together Red Raiders submitted pictures of their first socially distanced sleigh rides of the season! Stony Point Elementary 3rd grader Francesca Leone and Farley Elementary School 4th grader Isabella Leone jumped for joy when they found out they got a snow day and over a foot of snow to play in! Gingerbread House Contest Farley Elementary School students constructed some incredible gingerbread houses to enter in the James A Farley Elementary PTA annual Gingerbread House Competition. Emotion Scientists at West Haverstraw Elementary School are once again sharing their social-emotional learning (SEL) knowledge on helpful emotion regulation tools with the school community during #WellnessWednesday!
