This week for #WeddingInspoWednesday, we’re featuring Susan & Arthur’s colorful and love-filled day from May of 2018 at Restaurant Good Luck! It’s such a unique venue (and one of our favorite restaurants in town!), and we loved seeing how it transformed to hold such a special ceremony AND reception for these two. All we want for Valentine's Day this year is.... S E L F L O V E It's no secret boudoir is one of our favorite things around here. We love nothing more than showing our clients just how beautiful they are, from the inside out. Boudoir shoots are often purchased as a present for a significant other, but in reality become SUCH a gift to the person in front of the camera, too. What a joy it has been to capture this sweet family over the past few years. Amy & Bob started as wedding clients 2017, and we've been able to watch their sweet family grow since then In 2020, we had to adjust the way we photographed EVERYTHING because #COVID, but it ended up being one of the silver linings that kept us going throughout the pandemic. Our family minis have been the perfect way to safely capture you + your loved ones throughout life's changes - because as we've seen, a LOT can happen in a year. And in 2021, we'll be rolling out even more mini session opportunities, so stay tuned!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL!!! If you’ve met our Anna, you know what a gentle and giving spirit she has. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside (is that even possible?!) and she is one of the most talented humans of all time. From classical harp performance, photography, and even trapezing (not a word, but she does it) - Anna is game for anything and SUCH a valued member of our team. Happy birthday to you from us all!!!

We've posted support for the cause on all of our social media feeds, but we wanted something more formal that wouldn't get lost in our feed. It has been important to me and my team that we weren't simply checking a box by rushing to make a statement that didn't have any real introspective work behind it. I wanted to ensure that this is not a phase or a passing concern that dissipates in a week or two. We wanted to first listen, and look inwards; be supportive on an indivi...dual basis to our loved ones that are hurting. We've been asking questions, examining how we've been serving the black community, and discovering where we've missed the mark. If anyone has looked at our online presence, we hope our support of the movement has been obvious. We are sharing this statement now because we wanted there to be no question that we stand against racism, because in our hearts and minds there is no question when it comes to supporting our BIPOC clients and friends. Unfortunately for Sean, I love horses... well any animal. Once I got into horseback riding I bought my first horse just a month later. Poor Sean. But he knew the way to my heart - he actually used my horse for the proposal! He had my friend who I would occasionally ride with plan a lesson with me and my trainer. She is someone that he knew had a camera and loved taking photos. On January 10, 2018 after I completed my lesson with my friend, I began untacking my horse, and Sea...n had to point out the twine wrapped around my horse’s neck. At first I was mad because WHY would he put stuff on my horse? Well... attached to that twine was a beautiful engagement ring. . If you know Katelyn and Sean, you can TOTALLY picture this story. We loved being a part of their wedding day and their playful personalities made the journey so fun. We can’t wait for them to welcome their newest addition in July!!
