The Northwest Family YMCA's pools will be CLOSED on 6/14 - 6/22 and will re-open on 6/23 at 5:30AM. The pools at our North Area Family YMCA and Hal Welsh East Area Family YMCA will be open for reservations. We're making sure we do our part to keep our members & community healthy and facilities clean!

Are you interested in endurance training for long-distance running? You should join our Distance Run and Triathlon Training group at the Y. This 22-26 week long program will help you gain strength, endurance, accountability, and comradery while also preparing you for races. In celebration of the opening of the YMCA Northside Women's Wellness Center, Black History Month, and American Heart Month; we are pleased to announce the inaugural YMCA Virtual Women’s Wellness Speaker Series. The events take place every Tuesday in February of 2021 from 6-8pm ET on Zoom. The February 2021 YMCA Virtual Women's Wellness Speaker Series will focus on topics at the intersection of women's wellness, health and wellness topics affecting the Black community, and c...aring for the heart. Our speakers include women medical providers, health professionals, and community wellness experts. Each session will feature a presentation from experts, followed by a moderated question and answer session. Our first speakers are Dr. Brittany Williams, Ph. D., NCC and Dr Nelly Kazzaz, MD.
