Overhead squat has long been a staple exercise used to gauge overall shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle mobility. Build a full body workout around these variations. For an old school squat, bring heels together and feet facing outward at 45 degree angle. Be mindful of the pelvic tilt point for loaded versions. Sample 30 minutes 200 reps workout: Two sets of twenty bodyweight squats as a warmup; Two sets of fifteen loaded squats, classic version; Two sets of fifteen loaded squats..., old school version; Two sets of ten (each side) unilateral kettlebell squats; Two sets of ten (each side) unilateral bar squats; One set of twenty bodyweight squats as a closer. Add five pull-ups, ten pushups, and 30 seconds jump rope to each set for additional challenge. See more
