Please donate to this cause. I am a part of this push to help others in need and I know the money goes to provide food for the people. Even before this pandemic..., several students from Adelphi University including Jennifer Ruvarashe Willard started a food justice initiative by gathering surplus food from campus to donate to the homeless and people with food insecurities in the Hempstead, NY area. The Reverend Adam Bucko and The Very Reverend Dr. Michael T. Sniffen from Cathedral of the Incarnation joined us and we regularly distributed food on Monday nights. You can be a part of this larger vision of people helping their neighbors. Father Adam (as he is affectionately called) and Father Michael go as far as Brooklyn to deliver food to those in need. Won't you please help support this worthy cause? Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City, NY See more

After Trump here is what we do.... We make a conscious decision to love ourselves and each other in deeper and more serious ways. We make a commitment to helpin...g our communities, wherever we live. We understand that words like love and peace are action words. We work harder to be kinder and more compassion to each other, to those like us and those different from us. We give back. IF you live in the New York City metro area I would love for you to join us this Friday night, December 2nd, at my 16th annual holiday party and clothing drive in benefit of the Safe Horizon Streetwork Project. This organization supports literally thousands of homeless young people every single year who are at various stages of homelessness or transitional housing. Please bring CLEAN new or used coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and other Winter gear for both adults and children (other seasonal clothing welcome as well). IF you do not live in the New York City metro area PLEASE SHARE this with folks you know who do. And IF you are in the New York City metro area PLEASE COME Friday night to Haus, 285 West Broadway, at the corner of Canal Street, in Manhattan, to drop off your clothing donation.
