Today we're having a hearing to examine parks equity. Our research shows that areas hardest hit by COVID also have the least amount of greenspace. Past efforts to help bring more greenspace to New York City have too often excluded lower income communities. The Council will use its oversight to hold the Administration accountable and find solutions to ensure that all neighborhoods have equitable access to greenspace. Tune in LIVE at 1pm:
