Growth Coaching versus Classical Therapy In classical therapy we examine a person's past experiences and try to reinterpret them through a more compassionate and mature worldview, with the aim of changing the mindset of the individual with respect to their selves, social interactions, and life as a whole. This process can take many years to show results and in some cases require lifelong commitment to deal with fundamental issues. Growth coaching by contrast is future- and ...action-oriented. That means we identify different areas of an individual's life that are impeding their growth and functionality in everyday life. We then construct concrete actions plans that allow them to address these issues through specific steps that result in positive reinforcement for behavioral change. This results in a gradual changes in different parts of the individual's mindset resulting in an organic and sustainable transformation. See more
