REMINDER The NYC Huskers invite you to our Holiday Happy Hour taking place at Mustang Harry’s from 7-9pm this Thursday (12/9). We hope to see you there in your ugliest sweater!
Well, that's a wrap on another football season. It didn't go the way we wanted, but it certainly gave us hope for next season. And just like our football program, we're looking towards the future as well, with several of our longtime board members stepping aside to make way for a new generation of NYC Huskers. And now, like Sinatra said, it's up to you New York. It's time for a new group to carry that tradition forward and keep NYC Huskers' place as the most exciting and i...nnovative Nebraska alumni chapter in the country. If you're interested in helping make that a reality, DM us here, email us atmailto:[email protected], or join us at our Holiday Happy Hour on December 9th from 7-9pm at@mustangharrysnyc . We'd love to answer all of your questions. This organization is, has been, and always will be about you: our friends, our fans, our family. Nebraska and New York City are two of the most special places on earth and, as NYC Huskers, we sit at a beautiful intersection of the two. We have strived to deliver a little slice of the Good Life with a Big Apple flavor with our footballwatch parties, chili cookoff, Taste of Nebraska, etc. And there are endless possibilities to do it even better than before. From those of us stepping down, we want to thank you for making our time leading this club so incredible. We'll still be around and look forward to being a part of the crowd at future events. To those willing to pick up the flag, an even bigger thank you. We can't wait to see you take this thing to new heights. We'll all stick together in all kinds of weather, for Dear Old Nebraska U. See you soon. Go Big Red. See more

We figure there's no better time than the announcement of fall football (we can't believe it either!) to unveil our brand new logo! Stay tuned for our full plan, including some *very* 2020 merch. And as always, Go Big Red!
No football sucks; there's no way around that. And while we agree with the Big Ten's decision in regard to safety, we're as devastated as anyone else. However, you can still count on NYC Huskers to deliver a little slice of the Good Life to the Big Apple this fall. We're regrouping on new ways to (virtually) spend our Saturdays with our fellow Nebraskans in the city and we encourage you all to keep an eye on this space as we announce the new happenings. As always, we'll all stick together in all kinds of weather. Go Big Red. See you soon.
It never got cool this week but we ran the BTN Big 10K anyway! If you ran this week, post a pic with your time so we can all talk about our love/hate relationship with running. GBR
We're holding a virtual meeting tonight at 7pm Eastern to elect our board and plan for the next year of the NYC Huskers! If you want to learn more about what we're all about, send us a DM and we'll get you the Zoom Link. GBR
There’s no doubt about it - this is going to be a very weird year for college football. We want your help in navigating what that means for the NYC Huskers this season and beyond. We’re holding a virtual meeting on Thursday (7/23) at 7pm to elect our board for the next year. That means this is your chance to jump aboard the crew that helps create a little slice of home for Nebraskans here in the Big Apple. Sound awesome? Maybe interesting? Need more info? Either DM us on Facebook or Instagram or shoot us an email at [email protected]. We’ll get you the Zoom link and answer any questions you may have ahead of Thursday. In the meantime: stay safe, wear a mask, and Go Big Red!
Coming off a great talk with our fellow Nebraskans we can confirm: NYC Huskers still supports the protests, peaceful or not, happening across the country. Action is overdue and all police officers should be held accountable. Our stance is a little different from UNL's at large and we would love to tell you why in the comments. Black Lives Matter now and always so let's educate each other. Let's get started! Pic by @evexgreen
We're thrilled to see our alma mater engaging in this conversation that so desperately needs to be had. We'll be attending this session tomorrow, June 2nd, and we hope that you'll join us.
UPDATE: We’re going to go ahead and close this comment section, as this was not meant to be a discussion. Any further comments will be deleted. We’ve made our stance perfectly clear, whether you agree with us or not. We’ll keep fighting for justice and progress in our city, our state, and our former state. We hope you’ll join us." ORIGINAL POST: NYC Huskers supports the protests, both peaceful and not, happening in NYC and in Nebraska. Black Lives Matter. ... It is not just time for action: action is overdue. All police officers should be held accountable.
