Met today with Anjule and Ondre who are getting married this Friday! Looking forward to this!!!

Just received a review from a bride whose wedding I officiated last year - Thank you so much Andri!!!

NY State law currently allows for mayor, city clerk, justice/judge and members of the clergy to officiate weddings. Today I emailed a NY assemblyman and pitched the idea that this be changed. In NJ, residents can become wedding officiants simply by registering to be civil celebrants (effective May 2014). This is an excellent idea and I hope that NY adopts similar legislation. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
