Surly and his dad both learning how to do a proper sit and learning the release command. Sit means SIT you shouldn’t have to add a stay to your sit if you do your dog probably doesn’t actually know sit. Just a general statement but does your boss tell you to work when your at work or do you get scolded and told to work repeatedly. Throwback to my board and train Stella in the park putting in some reps into her recall. We do it so much that if you pay attention to her behavior it shows how much focus she also has by looking how she stops in btwn the play to make sure I didn’t call her back early. That’s the goal! Not to only have her recall command but to start creating habits and behaviors. I’m using the sticks here for play and her kibble as a reward!
