The New York City Regional Innovation Node (NYCRIN) is designed to support regional needs for innovation, education, infrastructure and research by training academic researchers and technologists through the National Science Foundation I-Corps program. Through I-Corps, you will learn to identify valuable product opportunities and gain skills in entrepreneurship through training in customer discovery and guidance from established entrepreneurs. SSTI Creating a Better Futures Awards applications are due May 26 at 5:00 pm EDT. The new title of the program is intended to better reflect the ever changing field of economic development and celebrate exceptional initiatives that create a better future through science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. The intent of the program also is to offer practitioners and policymakers examples of successful approaches that are being employed across the country.
