We are just under a month away from our 2021 recital! Remember to check the Costume Accessories/Clothing email sent out to see what items your dancer will need. All dancers will be required to have the shoes, tights, accessories and/or clothing items that are listed with their classes, as well as a BLOCH brand mask that matches their skin tone. You’ve got this dancers, keep up the hard work! You are almost there!!

Just two more days to get your recital shirts! Order yours by emailing [email protected] by May 19th! Shirts are $25 each, and sizes range from child medium to adult large.

It’s the last day to get your tickets for our in-person shows!! Stop by the studio today between 3:30-6pm!! Cost per ticket: $25, cash only. A livestream option will also be available, more details to come soon!

We had an amazing time today celebrating our 2021 dance team! We loved being able to hand out our dance team superlatives, senior gifts, and Nexstar awards. We are so proud of all of you and the spectacular things you have accomplished this year. Congrats to all on an amazing season, we can’t wait to see you shine one last time at Worlds!

Happy #seniorsunday !! This week we are featuring senior Taylor F! Taylor will be graduating from Goshen High School and has been apart of the NYDC family for 10 years!! She will be remembered for her hilarious musical theater performances, hardworking personality, and for her fun loving spirit! What are your plans for after graduation? In the fall I’m attending the University of Tampa, majoring in Management with a minor in Accounting. ... What are you most excited about? I’m most excited to live where it’s warm all year and to be very close to the beach! What is your favorite memory from your time at NYDC? My favorite memories at NYDC are all the competition weekends when I could spend the long days hanging out with my best friends at all the different competition venues and hotels. What are you going to miss the most about NYDC? I’m going to miss all of the teachers and my friends the most. Over the last 10 years here, NYDC became my second family, so it’s definitely going to be hard to leave. Any advice for current or future NYDC dancers? Keep having fun while you dance, and make sure you treasure the time you have left with your dance family. It definitely flies by!

A dance family is a forever family! We know Miss Nikki’s wedding plans are not as she planned so we wanted to surprise her with a drive by bridal shower! We love you Miss Nikki & we are so excited for this next chapter in your life.

October is breast cancer awareness month and every year we as a studio, try to donate money to the American Cancer Society! Unfortunately due to these trying times. there isn't a walk this year but that doesn't mean we cannot show our support! Please join our team & donate in support of Miss Gina and breast cancer awareness with New York Dance Center! We are looking forward to our "real kids wear pink" PINK OUT DAY at the studio (date TBA) in lieu of the walk this year! Bre...ast Cancer awareness is near and dear to my heart especially since being diagnosed with breast cancer 7 years ago. One day at a time I have become stronger and every step of this walk means so much to me. I am on a "Journey" with everyone who has been touched in some way with breast cancer whether it is you are a loved one. During this time, I would like to honor all of you, especially both of my Grandmothers who were diagnosed in the 1970's, fought the battle and had an impact on me.
