New York Kenshinkai & New Jersey Kendo Kids 2020 Holiday Party Happy Holidays!!! We have not having in-person kendo practices since March and held our annual holiday party virtually this year. More than 60 members and the family joined the virtual holiday party from different areas in the US (CA, IL, NY, NJ, PA, TX), Japan, and UK. ... Our traditional Kenshinkai Award was given to Lynn Uemoto who won the third place in Jr. youth division at the Detroit Taikai in February. Congratulations to Lynn! Happy Halloween!!! Hope you are all well. We are currently practicing online for all safety, but our sprits haven’t changed.

We will cancel Kenshinkai class on March 13, Friday and NJ Kendo Kids class on March 14, Saturday due to COVID-19 outbreak. Please practice kendo individually at home. Do suburi and watch kendo videos on Youtube.
