After just 8 weeks of training 15 year old Xavier #baseball player Nick Romagnolo added 12 pounds, increased his max trap bar deadlift to 285 pounds, all while decreasing the strength deficit in his quadriceps by 31%! Division 1 Fencer Hallie Tiburzi was experiencing back and hip pain that was holding her back in her sport and everyday life. In #Fencing, lunging is crucial to winning a bout, and lunging with suboptimal biomechanics can irritate the lower back. With training targeting the muscles around her pelvis and spine, Hallie saw improvements in lower body strength and stability, enhancing her ability to react and lunge forcefully at an opponent, all while maintaining optimal pelvic positioning. Hallie is close to pain-free and has seen significant improvements in her lower body strength and stability.

Developing your explosiveness is key to becoming a better baseball player, like Queens College hitter & infielder Anthony Scotti @anthonyscotti Triphasic training is a system of training that focuses on the 3 phases of a muscle action. These phases are the eccentric (lengthening of a muscle), isometric (fixed muscle length) and concentric (shortening of the muscle.) Many movements in baseball go through these three phases, so prioritizing muscle contraction types in training makes high-intensity baseball movements , such as lateral movements, straight-ahead sprinting, and swinging, much more efficient and explosive.
