Join us on Thursday, April 22nd for a roundtable discussion with Liberal Studies’ Dean Mostov. This discussion is open to all students as a safe space to address Anti-Asian violence on and off campus and the administration’s response to the current racial climate. This discussion is designed to give students a platform to address and unpack their feelings, sentiments and propose ideas on how LS can create or better enhance safe spaces for their Asian students. As PR Chair, I am looking forward to connecting the LS community, as well as improving the branding of LS. Lastly, one fun fact about me is that I’m scared of pigeons!
Fall-Elected LSSC Spotlight! Hi! I’m Chloe and I will be your Sophomore Class Representative this year. I’m from Shanghai, China, and I use she/her/hers pronouns. I’m currently a sophomore at LS pursuing a double major in Philosophy and Economics. I look forward to working with LSSC and help all students who are in need of contacting the student council! In the following year, I’ll work closely with the Class Activities Board Committees to provide more activities and outreaches for sophomores. Fun fact, I have two giant seal pillows that take 1/3 of my bed.

LSSC Fall-Elected Spotlight: Kayla Nappi! Hey! I'm Kayla (she/her) and I will be the Global Liberal Studies Committee Chair for this year. I'm in my sophomore year, and in addition to GLS I'm also double majoring in Spanish and Latin American Literatures and Cultures. This year, my goal is to help all GLS students voice their thoughts, opinions, and needs to me so that I can represent the GLS classes as they hope to be. My hope is to support any possible changes or improvements in the GLS curriculum and programming, as many of us are far apart from one another. Additionally, I would like to help GLS students better connect within groups, especially the GLS First-Gen students! Feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]
