Assalamualikum!!! Join us tomorrow for a halaqah at 5:30pm with our very own Shiekh Faiyaz from ICNYU. We are excited to learn from him and understand what it really means to sacrifice for the sake of Allah swt. This is a term that we hear sometimes being used but what does it imply and how does one actually sacrifice for Allah swt? We are excited for the halaqah tomorrow and hope that you join us inshAllah!!! (Zoom ID on the flier)

The Prophet (PBUH) said, I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this, putting his index and middle fingers together. Narrated by Sahl bin Sa’d. Unfortunately, children are often caught in the aftermath of conflict, natural disaster, poverty, and disease.Across the globe, nearly 50 million children have been uprooted, forced to flee brutal conflict and extreme poverty. This figure includes millions of children caught in war...s in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and South Sudan and many other countries. These children are without homes, safety, food, and other basic needs. Whether these children are orphans, migrants, refugees, or internally displaced, they are all children first. They don't choose where they're born, but we can choose to help. Alhumdulliah this Charity Week provides us with another opportunity to donate our time, energy, and wealth to help the most vulnerable of people. The projects include training healthcare professionals, paying for heart surgery for children refugees in Syria and Lebanon, educating hundreds of children in countries like Pakistan, the Philippines, and Nigeria, and funding emergency campaigns in Yemen and Somalia. There are so many ways that you can take part in the Charity Week from the comfort of your homes. Share our launchgood! https://events.nyumsa.nyc/launchgood Come play a game of Jeopardy! Participate in a 20/20 Challenge! However you participate, let’s make history :)
