9 years ago, this was our hangout. It's been a long time since those days and we've grown exponentially since then. Will, Brian & all the other admins have taken the club to new heights by hosting 2 of our first YoYo competitions in Coney Island. We will be marking 14 years when we start our spring sessions and we can all agree that 13 was unlucky. But looking forward, I'm optimistic that we could start weekly meets sometime between the spring or summer. We'll keep you p...osted. Joeyoyo The YoYo Advocate

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of fellow club member Malakia Brown. Malakia is one of our new members and younger members which make this announcement even more hard to do. I'm planning on attending this young man's wake to represent our club, to honor him, and to express my condolences to his father in person. As a father myself, I am compelled to attend. I would like to ask our fellow members to dedicate a moment of silence in his memory. Also,... if anyone has any words to say in the comments or memories that you have of Malakia, I invite you to post them here. It's a sad day in muddville indeed. Joeyoyo The YoYo Advocate

For some reason the share had a problem so here's the link. Let's see how that goes. For the old timers out there, this was filmed 5 years ago by Lisa Evers Fox 5 News. It was great meet and we got to spread the word of Yo on TV.... And for those of you that are marking the age of our club, as of May we started our 13th season. This season marks the only time when we didn't call weekly meets, for obvious reasons. Until such time when we can all meet again, I call on all club members to post and share your vids and pics of your gear here. Even if we can't be active in person, we can be active here. What else but the El Presidente. I think that this is Brian's 3 signature throw over the years and if I'm not mistaken, his first bi-metel. Can't wait to see it in action.
