Here is a poem that I wrote, and thought would be a great share for today. Stay warm, safe, healthy and happy.... Dr. Dave Winter Winds... I sit cradled in the comforts of my era Though sharp winds seek to pierce my vulnerable, yet sheltering sheath. The sun, frighteningly masked by a charcoal grey veil Sneaks in with a chill, only to be escorted out, by the warmth of my being. The skeletons of winter reach up embracing the veil, shivering and praying for the return of springtime's dance. No creatures are seen, for today they seek shelter against the smothering white blanket about to be laid down. The winged dash across the sky, racing the unforgiving wrath of season. The squall from the north tears off limbs of the mighty and bold The howling winter breathes frozen droplets from its core. I prepare for sleep, feeling secure, warm, and at peace in my heart. The hours pass quickly, I am abruptly awakened by a battle of nature. Through my window, I inspect the wake of a fury Broken limbs are scattered as far as my eyes can see The battle is over, I cover my weary body, and quickly head out into the freeze, to meet with the injured. I gather damaged limbs that were once healthy and strong Preparing them for cremation, returning their ashes to earth. I sit in the glow of the crackling fire, pondering the inexorable passage of time. My body still cold, but my heart comforted and warm, For springtime is near. David A. Gentile 1995

The holiday season is a time to share our love by giving to others. The most valuable gift you can give or receive is a gift of love. Even a gift that requires unwrapping, when given with unconditional love becomes priceless.... Even during this difficult times, we can share our love is so many ways. I had to take this picture and share it. I found a mask on a journal I use, and saw it as a prophetic message of positivity. The best is yet to come, it is just a matter of time. Faith, progress, change and acceptance need to be in place. Wishing everyone peace, health and happiness... Dr. Dave

I have always said that it is better to be blessed, than to be lucky. We are all blessed in so many ways. Luck comes and goes, as part of random chance.
