With the increase in motorcycle accidents recently, we want to remind everyone to pay attention. Many people ride motorcycles and bicycles for economic and enjoyment reasons (including to and from campus). Bikes are harder to see than a car. Don't be that person that is involved in a car vs bike accident who says "I didn't see them". Attached is some information from Florida regarding motorcycle safety. If you happen to see a motorcycle driving recklessly however, feel free to call 911 to report the unsafe actions.
It's the start of National Telecommunicators week. The Campus Safety Department would like to thank all of the campus dispatchers as well as our 911 dispatchers working hard to help keep our community as well as our police, fire, and EMS workers safe each and every day.
