Last night's Occupy Think Tank show on WBAI (99.5 NYC) was on the fiscal cliff. The conversation of course went elsewhere as the fiscal cliff was deemed more fictitious than substantive, and even perhaps more fear-mongering legitimate. We ended up talking about politics, control, governmental spending, and how little of any of that most people living in America have. Enjoy.

Wbai has finally come through the storm and will be back on the air! This Wednesday's show on Occupy Wall St. Radio will discuss Hurricane Sandy. We can go in many directions with the discussion: the logistics of emergency response, the political ramifications of relief and reconstruction efforts, low income and racial outcomes of efforts. Obviously we'd love to have a strong component and representation of people working with Occupy Sandy, and will be discussing Occupy's ...efforts to help rebuild local communities as well as the debate over the public versus private provisions of relief services. We will be taking listeners calls regarding their experiences and what they think these types of emergency services should look like. We are also looking for about 8 in studio guests.
