Snow Day Tips: When you are stuck inside all day it can be tempting to overeat. Here are a few suggestions to stay on track! -Exercise in the house even if you don't have equipment. For example, rent a free video "on demand", do some stair climbing or 3 sets of jumping jacks (100)...just get moving! -Make a big, colorful fruit salad everyone can enjoy as an afternoon snack (we just finished doing that here at my house...yum!) -Make some homemade potato chips that are nice... and healthy! Using sweet potatoes, slice thin and drizzle with olive oil and bake away until crunchy...yummy! -Rent a movie and snuggle up with some healthy popcorn and enjoy! Most important...stay safe and warm everybody!
Winter can be tough to stay on track especially with the winter we are having! I have to say that I'm so proud of everyone I am working with for staying on track and continuing to reach their goals! Spring will be here before you know it so let's stay positive and keep it going. Great job everybody! :)
