December 13, 2020, OJC joined several other institutions in Oceanside NY for a Day of Giving. The video is a highlight of the whole event and is shown below, via YouTube. Chanukkah at OJC

Via Temple Avodah's FB "This past Sunday was our first Better Together Day of Giving - We thought you might like a really quick look at the day. Click on the link to see a short video of the day. In every congregation we talk and preach, love, understanding, doing for others and togetherness. This past Sunday, Dec 13th, we, along side other Temples, Churches, the Oceanside Library and the Oceanside JCC demonstrated the immense positive power of unity. Collectively, the o...rganizations gathered cars full of food, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, toys, paper goods, refundable bottles, gift cards and more, all of which went to people in need in our communities.
