Dear Colleagues and Clients- In light of the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we at O'Connor First have taken aggressive action to avoid any business disruption. We are committed to protecting the safety and health of our employees and all individuals involved in our business activities. Our senior management meets on a daily basis to monitor the recommendations from the CDC and the New York State Department of Health. With these recommendations in hand, we have acti...vated numerous internal protocols that address business continuity. Our attorneys and staff are now working remotely, which will allow us to meet our ethical and professional responsibilities while also providing exceptional service to our clients. We will remain fully operational throughout this period at our offices here in Albany, New York and in Bennington, Vermont. We continue to meet with attorneys, clients and the judiciary by teleconferencing as necessary, although all of the federal and state courts have issued orders eliminating all but emergency appearances. We are continuing to monitor these circumstances and will keep you informed of any changes. In the meantime, we are in the process of reaching out to our clients whose trials have been adjourned to provide updates and guidance. We assure you that we will collaborate with our clients to work towards minimal disruption for future case-related appearances in order that their focus remains on patient care. In times like these, both our business and personal relationships are more important than ever. We look forward to continuing to serve you and we wish you safety and good health. If you have any questions about our response to COVID-19, please don't hesitate to contact me. We will make every effort to keep you apprised of further developments. We at O'Connor First will proudly do our part to beat this. Thank you for your trust and confidence. We wish you well in these trying times.
