Oddity Studio

Oddity Studio is open! Hello all! So, as many of you may have heard, Micro-Cluster restrictions for Orange Zones have been adjusted, allowing Personal Care businesses to reopen. Many of you have been asking, and YES!... This means Oddity Studio will be reopening this week! Our reopening guidelines the same as before: 50% capacity social distancing masks & other mandatory PPE adhering to even higher standards of sanitation & disinfection ... to name a few. BUT (and there's always a but) - adding to these mandatory guidelines, all employees providing services must be tested weekly. We will still watching numbers, there are new metrics to how the zones will be determined: hospital capacity percentage & positive test numbers, which have been rising. So, what does this mean for you? Well. Even though we are reopening, we are still going to watch everything week to week, because we know the number of positive cases are going to go up due to the holidays. We are rearranging our schedules to have little to no overlap. This means less bodies in the studio at one time. We have updated our appointment policies. They were created for both the safety of both of us. This will also be posted at our door as a reminder. And please, if you feel sick, have been around anyone who has, or have possibly been exposed to anyone exposed to the virus: PLEASE STAY HOME & RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. We appreciate all of you, and can't wait for things to be somewhat normal, whenever that will be. But, safety is our #1 priority. So, look for your confirmation emails & texts. Those who missed appointments the last few weeks will be contacted to reschedule within the next few days. Our latest news As many of you are already aware, New York has a new Micro-Cluster Strategy, addressing COVID-19 hot spots that have popped up across the state. Monroe County has been in the Yellow Zone for a while, but after a briefing this past Monday, it was announced that Rochester is now in the Orange Zone, and restrictions to be in place by 11/25. We know we haven’t posted in a while. Since reopening in June, we’ve been going strong, getting everyone back in and trying to get a somewhat normal routine. Well. We got too comfortable. Rochester is now in the orange zone, meaning that non-essential businesses like gyms, salons, and other personal care businesses are closed. Wear a mask. Social distance. Wash your hands. And PLEASE limit your in-person gatherings.... Also. During this holiday season, think of all of the LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES THAT YOU CAN SUPPORT.
