We are back with the Spotlight! María Denisse is an international student from Nicaragua who studied at the United World College Costa Rica for two years before attending St. Lawrence University. There, she developed her passion for economics, photography, and cultural sharing and understanding. Currently she is a senior student majoring in International Economics and Spanish. Maria Denisse spent last spring studying in the NYC program and was abroad in Spain during the sp...ring of her sophomore year. On campus, she is the International Affairs for THELMO, the Social Chair of Chi Omega, and an executive board member of ODK. She is one of the co-founders of TEDxSt.LawrenceU, and served as curator since the organization was born. This year she is also the president of TEDxSt.LawrenceU and has been working very hard to plan and organize the upcoming conference with the theme of "Time to Change?" This year's TEDx event will take place this Saturday March 9th, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at PK Hall. #TEDxStlawrenceU #TimeToChange? @ St. Lawrence University See more
