Thank you to everyone who participated in the diaper drive! We were able to collect 2,850 diapers.

5 more days to donate! Did you know that: Diapers are not covered by ANT public assistance at this time. That often leads non-profits and social service agencies to pick up the cost of diapers.... Food pantries have often tried to fill the diaper need in their communities but have struggled to ask for these items without taking the focus away from food their main priority. It is also expensive to truly address diaper needs. Food pantries that offer diapers often spend hundreds of dollars a month on diapers.

Please help meet the diaper need in our community. What is "diaper need"? Pre-Covid, Diaper Bank Network determined 1 in 3 American families struggles to meet their littlest ones' diaper needs. That puts the health of the entire household at risk and can prevent parents from going to work or older kids from going to school. A great toll is also taken on a parent's mental health when they can't find ways to provide for their babies. As you can imagine, COVID has only made this worse, so Park United Methodist Church, Colgate Office of the Chaplains, and other congregations, in partnership with the Hamilton Food Cupboard, are working together to address this need.
