What do retailers and conversation designers have in common? VOICE. Big box retailers are making their way to the voice assistant world to facilitate shopping at home and big box means SCALE. Creating and developing ontologies, (knowledge graphs) connecting existing product inventory for voice assistants is not easy but MagicCo and Walmart have been working on creating experiences with thousands of intents, slots, and utterances for Walmart's commerce partners.
