With a slow start to 2021 turkey season due to 4 inches of snow then wind it made for a challenging first 2 days. Despite the challenge, did see some birds and passed on 4 Jakes at 10 yards. Day 3 started with birds gobbling everywhere but as soon as they hit the ground they went quiet and were too preoccupied with multiple hens. I decided to go find some birds with a little better attitude and was not long before I found a couple big Toms with no hens. A quick set up and it wasn't long before the two Toms were 20 yards and in full strut . Shot the biggest of the two with this nice bird weighing 23.5lbs a 9 inch beard and 1 1/4 spurs . With spring turkey season just around the corner thought I would share a few pics of the big Toms that were taken last spring. First trip of the year to Lake Ontario was a little tough with a cold front and lack of bait fish to bring the brown trout in. Fishing was slow... My buddy Sean and I stuck it out and still caught a couple nice fish with a 15lb lake trout ,10lb brown, another small brown, a 10lb sheep head and 2 white fish.It was great to get out on the water again with a good friend and have some laughs.The boat ran great with no issues so my charter season is open for business.

Just purchased a new aluminum bunk trailer from Joe at the trailer outlet in Tilton NH looks and tows awesome. Figured with my charter business and towing aproximatly 8000 miles a year it would be wise to have a new one. If you're in need of a used trailer give me a call- my old one is for sale. Check out this monster! Crazy winds made for a rough ride in after some slower fishing, but this 27lb King made up for all of it. Incredible catch Chip! What a beast!

Just finished another mount for my friend and off the grid neighbor Charlie Coutu nice 8 point from 2019 rifle season .

Great 2 days of fishing with my wife (and pups) on Lake Ontario. It was a mixed bag with several steelhead, several browns and a few nice Kings this morning to wrap up the trip. The water is heating up and August is sure to be some excellent fishing!
