2 cool prints by noted California artist Adam Stone. His works are in the collection of some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. These two prints are titled 'A Seed For The Bleacher Garden' and 'A Midfielder's Dream'. They measure 26"x 35" each; nicely presented. Colors are much more vibrant than the pictures. Price is $145 each or $250 for the pair.

Dynamic painting of Garo Yepremian who played for the Miami Dolphins. He's most famous for his fumble in Super Bowl VII that nearly cost them the game. The piece is signed 'Stewart', measures 27x33. In very good condition except a small chip in the lower right corner and a few small scuffs from slippage in the frame - easily repaired. $250.

Ike arrived yesterday, safe and sound. He's a big guy - the piece measures 35"x45". It was painted by Edgar Bowlin in 1962 at Ike's home in Gettysburg. Bowlin was known primarily as a sculptor. He created two paintings for American Presidents: IKE and JFK; luckily the former is now in my home! The auction house also sent me the original telegram confirming the artist's arrival time for the session.

Two new finds. The first is a winter scene by the noted (some say notorious) Morris Katz. Look him up and you decide. He's either the King of Schlock or a very creative guy who created his own vernacular. Or Both. The second is a cool interpretation of Adele Bloch-Bauer: one of Gustav Klimt's most famous pieces. It is rendered in fabric and partially quilted. It has a few minor flaws but the overall work is still lovely. No artist signature anywhere :-(

Just scored this large, elegant painting of Ike by Edgar Wallace Bowlin. The former president sat for the portrait in 1962 at his home in Gettysburg. Ike's always been one of my favorites so it seems a fitting way to commemorate President's Day. He'll arrive in about 10 days.
