We at Ogden Engine would like to wish all of the dispatchers out there a Happy National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. Especially to our friends at 60 control, our primary dispatch agency as well as one of our members of Ogden Engine Ryan Cullen (677) thank you for all that you guys do in the room. These men and women are the behind the scenes heroes and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without there assistance. Once again we thank you for your service.
Thank you Chief Edward Marron for all of your time and effort and dedication as Chief of the Dobbs Ferry Fire Department.

Last night at approximately 9:28pm one engine from Dobbs was requested mutual aid into the village of Irvington for a working fire. Engine 48 was on the assignment and responded with a mix crew of Ogden and Livingston members. The fire was located in the Downingwood complex. Upon arrival Engine 48 helped put out the fire as well as check for hotspots and open up the interior on the second floor. A second alarm was transmitted which sent Tower Ladder 23 to stand by in Irvington’s firehouse. Car 2091,2092,2093 operated on the scene with Engine 48 as well as multiple mutual aid departments. Thankfully nobody was hurt in the fire and everyone got to go home. Great work done by all!
Members of Ogden Engine helped fill out the crew that went to Ardsley yesterday afternoon. Job well done by all firefighters on the scene that made a nice stop of this 2nd alarm building fire.
