Ohashi & Horn LLP is pleased to announce that co-founding partner Jeff Horn Jr. has been selected for the 2018 Texas Super Lawyers list in the International practice area. 2018 marks Jeff’s sixth consecutive year to appear on the list, which includes less than five percent of attorneys in Texas, and less than 30 attorneys in the Dallas metropolitan area in the International practice area. Selection to Super Lawyers is based on an in-depth process that includes peer nomination...s, research, and reviews. Jeff maintains an extremely diverse international practice, and has more than 20 years of experience related to Asia, including living in Japan for two years. Jeff’s creativity and business acumen have made him a trusted adviser of numerous executives of international corporations, principals of prominent hedge funds and investment firms, and entrepreneurs. Ohashi & Horn LLP is a boutique law firm that represents a select group of clients in general corporate and business law matters, mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial litigation, labor and employment matters, and developing, managing and protecting intellectual property assets. The firm also maintains one of the largest practices in the United States that specializes in representing Japanese companies conducting business in the United States and U.S. companies attempting to penetrate the Japanese market. https://profiles.superlawyers.com//4a84ea2c-e9a2-418b-860c

Ohashi & Horn LLP founders Hiromasa Ohashi and Jeff Horn had the honor of attending an open house for High-Speed-Railway Technology Consulting Corporation's (HTeC) new Dallas office. A subsidiary of the Central Japan Railway Company, HTeC is bringing Japan's "shinkansen" bullet train technology to the high speed rail corridor being constructed between Dallas and Houston. The project will make Texas home to the most advanced bullet train corridor in the world, and provide an... economic impact of over $20 billion. It will create over 10,000 jobs per year during construction, and over 1,000 permanent jobs. Most importantly, it will provide the more than 50,000 individuals who travel back and forth between Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth every week the fastest, most convenient, and safest mode of travel available. The bullet train will offer departures from downtown Dallas every 30 minutes during peak periods, and there will be no need for advanced reservations or a TSA airport-style security check. The bullet train's ride is as smooth as glass, and with top speeds of up to 200 mph, it will make the 240 mile trip in less than 90 minutes. During more than 50 years of operation in Japan, there have been no fatalities or injuries due to bullet train accidents. Ohashi & Horn LLP is honored to welcome HTeC to Dallas and provide our support in making the project a huge success. Please learn more about the project and lend your support. This project is just one more reason why Dallas/Fort Worth is the best place in the world to conduct business! www.texascentral.com See more
