This weeks calves. Only two bull calves so far this year.
It's that time of year, cows calves and mud.
The heifer calf on the left belongs to our grandson. Today she calved as a two year old (right hand picture) and had a heifer calf. Eli's herd is growing.

It's been crazy busy getting ready for winter. Getting the new addition to the barn up. And moving cows off summer pastures. Thank God for the great weather!
Cut the sorgham Sudan grass. Going to bale and wrap it for balage.

Busy weekend baling straw. This red tailed hawk kept an eye out for mice also had a bald eagle fly over.

We had eight tenths of a inch but upstream they had 4 to 5 inches. Creek over flowed its banks and flooded the water pump we use to water cattle in our back pastures. So we had to improvise.

Eli and Pa went for a ride and he got to try out all the seats in the show room. Then we brought our new rake home.
