Puck died suddenly just before 8 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from a gastrointestinal issue with me and Kevin by his side. We were a herd of three, and we are learning to be two again. He is buried next to Mama overlooking the pasture, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren - something we never thought possible when he was a kid. We did take a break from social media for a bit, but we've been having a great fall! The turkeys have been growing up so fast under the shagbark hickory, and Puck is moving around like a rockstar (maybe like Keith Richards, but a rockstar nonetheless). Olde Forge will be donating 100% of our Millerton Farmer's Market sales this Saturday to the children of Puerto Rico. We'll also have a donation jar out, so please stop by. A $28 donation will provide an aid kit to a family in desperate need of help.

This is just the nicest batch of heritage turkeys we've ever raised. We'll be making an announcement in the next few weeks when it's time to order for Thanksgiving
