Corcoran's April 2020 Rental report is here. In Manhattan, rents rose for studios and one- and two-bedroom homes but declined sharply for three-bedroom homes. Vacancy rates rose in April vs March. Overall pricing remain steady but landlords offered concessions in 37% of the deals( vs 34% in March). Know the market, read the report, now on Inhabit.

Just off the hot press. NYC Residential Market Report March 2020 is a mixed bag as expected. While not quite reflective of the market direction yet you can read it as some downsizing going on, and a quite a bit of upsizing with 3+ bedrooms rents jumping up 32%, but many are simply staying put. 34% of the rental listings brokered by Corcoran offered landlord concessions in forms of a free month’s rent and/or payment of the broker fee.
