Attention New York shelters and rescues: We’re asking you to join the ASPCA in shutting down the cruel puppy mill pipeline in NY! You can help by encouraging your community to contact their lawmakers: http://aspca.org/nypuppymillpipeline
If you or anyone you know is in need of Vetmedin 10mg for their pet, please give us a call. We have a 50 tablet bottle that was donated to us and we would be happy pass it forward as this medication is on national backorder. We would need to see a valid prescription for the medication from a veterinarian or animal hospital to dispense.
Happy Valentine's Day to all our clients and their furry companions! Enjoy your snuggles!
It's very important to make sure your pet is up to date on all vaccines so they are protected from infectious diseases like Parvovirus. If you have questions about your pet's vaccine status or to schedule an appointment for vaccination, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Drizzi and her grandma doing curbside in style! We appreciate all of you who are being so patient while we are continuing with our curbside/sidewalk service during COVID. While it is not easy, it is the best way to keep all of us safe. If any one of our staff becomes ill, the clinic will have to close and none of us want that to happen. We want to stay healthy so we can continue to serve you and your pets.
The clinic will be closed Monday September 7th for Labor Day. We will re-open Tuesday September 8th at 9:00am. If you have an emergency, please go to the The Animal Medical Center, 510 East 62nd Street. Enjoy the holiday! See you on Tuesday.
Good evening, everyone. We are officially on vacation! The clinic will re-open Monday, August 31st. If during this time you have an emergency, please go to the The Animal Medical Center at 510 West 62nd St. Wash your hands, wear a mask, be safe & we'll see you in a week!
We're in the midst of another ugly stretch of heat and humidity. Keep your pets safe by making sure they have a cool place to relax and plenty of water. Limit excursions outside to early morning or late afternoon/evening if at all possible. Walk on the shady side of the street as much as possible and watch out for hot pavement that can burn paws. Heat stroke can happen quickly...know the signs and when to get immediate help!
Greetings to all, We hope you are staying safe and persevering during this crazy time. As you know, we have been open during the pandemic and have been operating under restrictions set forth by NY State. It has been stressful working under these conditions for the last five months, so for the first time in 20 years we are going to take a vacation in order to recharge our batteries. We will be unavailable from Sunday, August 23rd thru Sunday, August 30th. ... If you need medication or food, PLEASE contact us as soon as possible so we can fulfill your request before the clinic closes. Please do not leave messages or send email as we will not be available to respond. In the event of an emergency, please go to the Animal Medical Center, 510 East 62nd Street off the FDR Drive. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. Thank you! Stay safe and wear a face covering when in public! Dr. Coronato and staff at Oliver’s Dog and Cat Clinic
Nibbles patiently waiting to get back to mom after her appointment.
We'd like to remind all of our current and potential clients that masks are required to visit the clinic. Even if you are only picking up medication, please wear a mask! By wearing masks, we take care of each other and keep each other safe. Thank you!
Introducing Pablo Emilio!
Many of you are returning to work after weeks or months home. This sudden change may cause separation anxiety for some pets. Here are a few tips on reducing separation anxiety before heading back to the job.
NEVER leave your pet unattended in the car, especially on a summer day. Not even with the window cracked. It doesn't take long for the heat to build up and seriously injure or kill your pet.
We understanding waiting outside while your pet is visiting the clinic is difficult and at times frustrating. It is for us as well. But there is a reason we are doing it and that is to stay safe. Please take a moment to read this flyer from the NY veterinary Medical Society. It explains why we are still following the restrictive guidelines. We look forward to the day we can have you all back in the clinic!
