A Prayer for Faith and God's Will to be Done Dear Lord, times are really hard right now and life has really got me down. I don’t know what to do. I ask that You bestow Your wisdom upon me. I don’t want to lean on my own knowledge anymore, because it has let me down so many times. I need to hear Your voice. Give me the discernment to hear Your voice and Your voice alone. Speak to me in the way You know I will hear you best.... I also pray for Your Will, Lord. I give You the praise and the glory in my circumstances because I know that I am exactly where You want me. I know this is to teach me something or to help me to grow. No matter what, I trust you and ask You to show what is best in this situation. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Emotional Strength Lord of Power, You are my comfort, You are my shield, and You are my hope. In light of these events which have drained me and left me distraught I cling to You. Lord, I need You and You alone to give me strength. Let me not drown in my emotions but to hold on to the hope You give me in Jesus. Whatever comes my way, it pales in comparison to the coming glory of Christ, and in that, I hope. ... Thank You that true strength is found in Your name. Amen.

Wisdom to Deal with Difficulties Prayer Mighty God, You can do all things and no plan of Yours can ever be restrained. You direct the lives of Your children and You purposefully plan every circumstance. Grant me, Lord, the wisdom to understand the difficulties along my path and allow me to feel and see Your comforting hand in the midst of these troubles. ... Bless me with a faith that gives me the confidence to face difficulties unfazed, knowing that Your plans are always perfect. Amen.

An Advent Prayer to Treasure All These Things In Our Heart But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. Father,... The way You have created us is complex and wonderful. Full of thoughts and brimming with emotion, help us to remember the special moments we experience You in our lives. Like Mary preserved certain moments in her heart as she had the privilege of raising Jesus as her earthly son, let us not take for granted any of things or opportunities we are blessed with in life. May we hold Your love especially close, and top of mind, as we reflect on this Advent season. Help us treasure the good news for us in our hearts today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Advent Prayer: Birth of God's Son Heavenly Father, you sent your messengers to tell of the birth of your Son, that people might believe in him. Open our ears to hear your call, to repent of our sins, and to seek our heavenly inheritance.... May we profess Christ until we stand by his grace before the glory of your majesty; Grant this for the sake of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to the Immaculate Conception O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your Son, we beseech You that, as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son, You did preserve Her from all stain, so too You would permit us, purified through Her intercession, to come unto You. Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end.... Amen. See more

A Prayer to Declare God’s Glory in the Highest And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased. Father,... Glory to God in the highest! Oh, Lord, how we want to experience your glory to the full, because there is nothing that compares to it. Nothing on earth, no person or accomplishment, can satisfy our souls completely. We were made to enjoy you and glorify you. Today we declare your glory! We see it in all the beautiful decorations of the season and the cheerful faces around us. We see your glory in all you have created. Help us glorify you today! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer to Mary Immaculate Queen O Mary Immaculate Queen, glorious Queen of the Universe, most powerful Virgin, merciful Mother of a merciful God and refuge of sinners, we consecrate ourselves to thy Royal and Immaculate Heart. It is through thee that Jesus Christ our King has come into the world to save it. It is also through thee that He is to reign over the world.... In order to obtain this great benefit for ourselves and all mankind, we come to thy feet to consecrate to thee our persons, our lives, all that we are, all that we have, all that we love. Keep us, enlighten us, dispose of us, reign over us. May all hearts and all homes willingly proclaim thee as their Immaculate Queen. Amen.

A Prayer of Awe to Jesus Who Came Down from Heaven Father, Many times, you tell us not to be afraid. Help us to understand the difference between fear of the things of this world, and fear in respectful awe of you. ... We want to fear you, God, meaning to be in awe of who you are and your love for us. Remind us that other things threatening to scare us will pass away. You promise to defend us, provide for us, and love us eternally. Jesus’ birth on earth and death on the cross is the greatest expression of your love for us. This Advent, let us be in awe of the plan you put in place to save us from our sin. A baby, born in a manger. your Son. Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
