Attention OCSD artists: The art show is virtual this year and has been published online. You can locate the art show link below. Please remember that just like every other year, not all students are featured in the art show, but that doesn't make you any less of an artist! Keep on creating, and strive for next year's show! Enjoy viewing all of the beautiful masterpieces! https://sites.google.com//1ylrtiguHro7Hk-HZ5e-ATuskvY/edit

We are as proud as peacocks in room 121 here at OSMS! Everyone was asked to write about something or someone that they are proud of and why. We are often proud of our friends and our families when somebody stands out. This task was inspiring, thoughtful, and provoked some great colors and conversations too! Take a peek at the peacocks the next time you are here at OSMS!

In home and careers 6th and basic skills classes at OSMS, students learned how to "ice dye" fabric using cold water dyes and ice cubes. The results are amazing! Students will be able to use their individual fabrics in a project of their choice. Students are also busy learning how to use the sewing machines. Using paper with drawn lines as well as videos created by Mrs. MP and loaded into Google Classroom, students practice these new skills before moving onto fabric and thread. ________________________________________
Check out our NB second grade artists and their amazing talents as they create self portraits with Mrs. Kiehn!
