One Love Yorkville Animal Hospital 24.12.2020

Luna had her post-op visit after her recent surgery. She was very excited to see us again! Mom is looking forward to finally being able to give her a bath, though we think she looks gorgeous.

Handsome Bruce spent much of the day with us today for bloodwork and x-rays. He was so patient and well mannered!

We’ve seen the news stories, too. Remember, if you get sick it’s because of people. Not dogs, cats, or tigers.

One Love Yorkville Animal Hospital 01.11.2020

This email was sent out to all existing clients on March 21: Dear Valued Clients, We are committed to providing you and your beloved pets the best possible service during these extraordinary times. As such, we are currently open on a limited basis to provide your pets with their medical needs. We must balance the medical needs throughout our community with the health and safety of our staff. The health, safety and well-being for our staff, clients and patients are most impo...rtant and are our top priority. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Protection there is no evidence that companion animals can spread the COVID-19 virus. We request clients who are not feeling well, experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms or over the age of 65 stay home. We encourage you to reschedule your pet's appointment unless it's an emergency. Should you need an appointment, we will ask that you leave a deposit at the time of scheduling the appointment as our appointments slots will become more limited. Please call to schedule appointments as we are not accepting unscheduled appointments at this time. One Love Animal Hospital is taking extra measures and precautions to ensure the hospital remains a clean and safe environment. In order to keep our staff and clients protected, we will require you to leave your pets in our care while you wait outside the facility. We will discuss examination findings via the phone and provide the necessary treatments while you wait. We realize this is cumbersome and appreciate your support in our decisions. Again, this decision is to upkeep with the best social distancing practices. As restrictions in movement tighten we will continue to monitor and adjust our hours and adjust the services we will be able to provide. Our hope is that our business will be able to survive to provide your pet with the best quality care for many, many years in the future. We are working on incorporating telemedicine video consults in the next few days. Much of our hospital supplies are mostly designed to be sterilized and reused and therefore will not be disrupting the supply chain for human hospitals. As this outbreak progresses, we will continue to monitor, adjust and communicate as needed. On behalf of the One Love Animal Hospital Team, we would like to thank you for your continued support and trust. Sending all our love and respect, Drs. Angel, D'onofrio, Grittani, Humphreys, Lischin, Matos, Meltzer, Schoen, Thitipraserth, Zaccheo P.S. Should you find yourself hospitalized due to COVID-19 please send a note giving authorization for a friend or family member to make medical decisions for your pet(s) on your behalf.
