Good afternoon - Could you please consider posting on any social media you have such as websites, Facebook, etc. he following announcement regarding an upcoming virtual fundraiser. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lynn Glueckert at 607-432-0061. Thank you so much for all of your support of Catholic Charities and our mission.... I am sure you are aware that these are unusual times and at Catholic Charities it is no different. We may have had to change the way we are providing services somewhat, but our offices have all remained open and providing all the services and programs we normally provide since the shut-down in March. In fact from March through June our agency served just over 1,300 individuals with essential services including emergency assistance to meet basic needs, mental health counseling, our summer food service program, assisting people to sign-up for SNAP, as well as our many case management programs. We had to cancel our annual pasta dinner last April and will probably not be able to have any in-person fundraising events this year due to the pandemic. We are anticipating a rise in the number of individuals and families who need our services, as well as possible cuts in government funding. We will be holding a virtual fundraiser, which means instead of an event we will hold it on-line. This fundraiser is entitled A Place At The Table and will be held from August 10th August 14th. By visiting the link below you will be able to see the event and if you click on the link each day from August 10th August 14th you will be able to watch a video of the story of Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie Counties.
