Happy New Year from our OCA family to yours! His mercies are new every morning, and every new year. We are stepping into 2021 expecting great things because we know our God is faithful to us. Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. As we close out 2020, we have been reflecting on the many blessings in the midst of this challenging year. God surely has been good to us! Today, we wish you and your loved ones a very blessed New Year's Eve.

It was our pleasure to surprise the Otego Food Pantry this morning with a check for over $1700. Our PreK-3 through 5th grades have been collecting change for a month to donate to them. We began with a goal of $300, and we can't believe how far we exceeded it!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on this gorgeous day!

While 2020 has been a year of struggle and stress, for OCA and our families it has been a year filled with hope for our future and growth, in spite of the many challenges we have faced. We are thankful this year for our new building, for the 50 new students under our roof, for our new teachers and staff, and especially for God's provision in a year when fundraising has been next to impossible. This #givingtuesday2020, we have set the goal of 150 donations...one for every OCA student. Every gift, no matter what the amount, ensures that we continue moving forward in pursuit of our goal to train up the next generation of world-changing leaders. "Thank God for 2020" When one comes to question my poem's title Thank God for 2020? I was cruel and it was idle. True understandably, or what it might seem But the good of 2020 is around to see.... We got a new building, a structure, a home, While others school in silence, in a prisonly dome. But the virus itself, it drives me insane! You still have a bed, so do not complain. The restaurants are closed! Can it get any worse? Yes, you can be dying of hunger and thirst. Sure this year may not be the best But have you ever thought that it may be a test? You choose to be thankful, and trust me you can For you have the knowledge that it's part of God's plan. Thank God for 2020, though your world wobbles And thank God for Thanksgiving, Gobble!
