Sunset on The Hill

At approx. 10:45 the Onondaga Hill Volunteers were dispatched to a possible dump truck on fire on West Seneca Tpke. The staffed crew of 44E3 (FF. Armstrong) responded and arrived within 4 minutes of dispatch to find a small dump truck on fire holding with E3 only. 44E3 cleared in 40 minutes.

The Onondaga Hill Volunteers have had a busy 24 hours. Yesterday evening, Engine 3 (FF. Delano) and C1 stoodby for @lakesidefire_27 while they handled a structure fire. Then today Engine 3 (FF. Armstrong) was staffed again as E94, they responded as the 6th due engine to a working structure fire in the Lafayette fire district. Upon arrival OHFD did fire suppression and overhaul operating for approx. 4 hours. Units for both alarms 44C1, 44E3

Thank you to our community for showing their support for past members Monica Rhyne and Tyler DaSilva who lost their home to a fire on April 19th. With the donations received during our boot drive on April 23rd, we were able to present Monica and Tyler with a check for $5,885.08 to help them during this difficult time.
